The Technology Transfer (TT) event, organised by Enterprise Europe Network - Hellas partners (Praxi/Help-Forward Network and the Chamber of Ioannina), provides an opportunity for transnational technology, business and research partnerships in the field of emerging technologies in Non-Destructive Testing and Investigation.

It constitutes the fourth of a series of brokerage events co-organised by the IRC network, within the NDT Conferences, since 1999. It will take place during and parallel to the etech-ndt5 Conference on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 September 2011, in Ioannina, Greece.

Target groups

Scientists and entrepreneurs, developers, engineers and practitioners, as well as companies - end users of NDT technologies will be able to review recent developments, identify outstanding needs and solutions for their business.  This event aims to provide a unique opportunity for the participating organisations to meet and establish cross-border contacts with some of the major actors in the field of NDT with the objective to foster technology transfer agreements & business collaborations as well as joint participation in RTD projects.  

The Brokerage process

The interested parties will be invited to register and then submit their technology (offer and request), business and research cooperation profiles, which will be incorporated in the TT Event e-catalogue. The e-catalogue will be distributed to all participant at least a month prior to the Event. The expressions of interest will be matched to organise direct bilateral meeting during the Event. The meetings' schedule will be available to the participants prior to the Event.

Technical and organisational aspects 

The Event will follow the specifications of the Enterprise Europe Network, the largest business support organisation in Europe (and beyond), covering 47 countries. Participants may attend the whole conference or participate only in the bilateral meetings of the TT event. The participation fee (TT event only) is 60 euro and includes the brokerage service, refreshments and lunch, during the TT Event days. The technical aspects of the TT Event (profile collection and matchmaking) will be managed by the Enterprise Europe Network partners, while the organisational aspects of the Event (registration, fees, accommodation) will be looked after the Conference organisers.
